Blooming Beauty in Portland, Maine: Capturing Spring’s Cherry Blossoms and Tulips

It is finally May! The birds are chirping and the flowers are blossoming. Here are some of my favorite spring photos I have taken so far. Enjoy!

The West End

The West End neighborhood is one of the most beautiful places in Portland to enjoy the spring flowers. The streets are lined with brick buildings and lots of blossoming trees. If you visit later in the day you can watch the sunset at the Western Promenade, a public park that overlooks the west side of Portland.

The East End

Another great place to enjoy the spring scenery is the Eastern Promenade, the east end of the Portland peninsula. The hillside park offers expansive views of the Portland Harbor, and the nearby streets had plenty of flowery sights.
