5 Festive Ways I Celebrate Fall

I try to enjoy fall to its fullest since it is my favorite time of year. Wearing cozy sweaters and drinking pumpkin spice lattes are only some of the ways I celebrate the season. Check out some of my fall highlights below!

1. Fall Hiking and Leaf Peeping

The best way to enjoy fall is to take in the sights of the bright and colorful foliage. What better place to do that than New England?

My husband and I took a day-trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire during early-October and had the best time hiking the Arethusa Trail in Crawford Notch State Park. The trail took us to some waterfalls and some spectacular vistas. Just look at these gorgeous sights!

2. Apple Picking

Apple picking is a yearly tradition for us. We like to stock up on some apples and get some cider and fresh donuts! This year we went back to Randall Orchards in Standish, ME.

3. Pumpkin Picking

You can never have too many pumpkins in my book! I found the cutest little farm stand in Mechanic Falls, ME where I picked up some more pumpkins to decorate my front doorstep.

4. Eating Fall Flavors

I am a big fan of fall flavors! Here are some treats that I had the pleasure of enjoying this fall season so far: a pumpkin spice gourmet whoopie pie from Cape Whoopies and a butternut squash and ricotta galette from Belleville.

5. Fall Decorating

I love to decorate our home for fall. This year I have the LetterFolk Tile Mat, so I was able to add a festive design for the season! Along with decorating the inside of our home, I have pumpkins and corn stalks outside as well.
